Time for some skincare updates. You all know I'm a skin junky, always looking for new products to prim and pamper myself with. I have problem areas, so I like to find skin care products that will improve these areas. My problems include uneven skintone, some small fine lines ( darn you tanning ) tired looking skin, and dryness. So its always good to go into a store looking for skin care products that aim to improve your problem areas, if you don't know what these areas are you'll end up buying a skin care product that likely won't work for you.
Step one of my nightly skincare routine is washing off my makeup. I'm not going to lie I hate doing this, it takes so long and always ends up getting in my eyes and making them itchy and dry.
I'm going to be completely honest, and I know this is a big no no, but to take my makeup off I just use a bar of soap. Bad girl I know! I am interested in purchasing Bioderma makeup remover, because I've heard rave reviews about this makeup remover, but until then, I'll have to keep using the good ole, bar of soap.
After I get all the makeup off which takes me like 10 minutes because the soap doesn't really do an AMAZING job, I then take a face wash. OK so here's another "bad girl" moment. I have the crappiest face wash in the world. I really need to update my makeup remover and face wash, any recommendations ladies? For face wash I use Clean and Clear morning burst........ I know, I know, so embrassing. I use this to clean my face, but it doesn't really do a good job and I can't wait to get rid of it.
I also like to use baby shampoo to wash my face, it's super gentle and doesn't hurt if you get it in your eyes. I really only use this when I'm really lazy and don't want to take the time to properly take my makeup off and clean my face. This is another product that works well for washing your face, but sucks for trying to take your makeup off.
Well gals that's part 1 of my skincare routine, stay tuned for part 2 and I'll update you on the rest.
